Lift Tech has partnered with River Parishes Community College to bring about a change in the workforce. Together, we have developed a comprehensive program designed to take inexperienced operators over the age of 18 and make them certified crane operators. With an emphasis on seat time, our program has had great success.
Duration: 2 Weeks - Mon–Fri - 8 AM–4 PM
This course is designed for operators with no experience in rigging or signaling. Operators will learn and practice performing simple, repetitive rigging tasks and properly inspect rigging before use. Operators will learn and practice using both hand signals as well as proper verbal signals used to guide mobile cranes. Upon successful completion, operators earn the CCO industry-based certification.

Lift Tech has partnered with River Parishes Community College (RPCC) to create a comprehensive career development program that takes inexperienced operators over age 18 and prepares them for CCO crane operator and rigging certifications.
The beginner mobile crane operator program runs 4 or 6 weeks, Monday through Friday, from 8 AM to 4 PM. The program emphasizes hands-on seat time for the best preparation.
Graduates commonly earn $30–$40 an hour after becoming a beginner crane operator.
Yes. The beginner rigging and signalperson course runs 2 weeks, Monday through Friday, 8 AM–4 PM. Operators learn rigging tasks, proper inspection techniques, and both hand and verbal signals for guiding mobile cranes.
No prior experience is needed. These programs are specifically designed for operators with no previous experience in crane operation, rigging, or signaling. You must be at least 18 years old to enroll.
