Frequently Asked Questions
Are rigger and signalperson qualifications required by OSHA?
OSHA 1926.1419–1926.1422 requires qualified signalpersons and qualified riggers during certain crane operations. Lift Tech delivers and documents that in-house qualification.
How often must rigging gear be inspected?
Slings and rigging hardware must be inspected before each use and on a documented periodic basis (typically annual, more often in severe service). Lift Tech can build and execute that program.
