Qualified Operator Evaluations
Documented qualified-operator evaluations covering equipment-specific knowledge and skills, performed at your site.
Certification gets an operator on the crane. The employer is still responsible for evaluating that operator on the specific equipment and the specific work. Lift Tech delivers that evaluation, documented to OSHA's standard.

Operator Evaluations FAQ
What's the difference between certification and evaluation?
Certification (CCO) shows an operator has met a national standard. The employer evaluation is required on top of that - it confirms the operator can safely run the specific equipment for the specific job.
When do I need to re-evaluate an operator?
When the operator is assigned a different crane type or configuration, when assigned a new task, or when performance issues arise. OSHA 1926.1427 details the triggers.
